Heavenly Father is a God of Order

This week I learned the importance of organization. Often times when we read the book of numbers we look at it superficially because all of Israel is being accounted for. There are actually a lot of great principles to be had from this book in the bible.

The biggest thing that I learn is that God is orderly. He does not just do things willy-nilly. He has a plan and order to everything He does. In the beginning chapters of numbers the Lord organizes Israel by families and also puts people into groups so that management is easier. He also takes time to explain the duties of each tribe and shows that He delegates work out.

I think that in each of our own lives we should take the time to examine ourselves and see how organized we are. From my personal experience I know that being unorganized can make you miss out on opportunities and it can create a lot of unnecessary stress. We don’t have to be perfect at being organized, but any improvement we can make will help. We will see increased happiness as well as increased success if we take the time to organize our lives more.
